What reputation does Inredningskurser.se have in the job market?
We have worked passionately with interior design training for 20 years and are today the trainer who certifies the most interior decorators in Sweden.
We have 7 employees who work with interior design education full-time and the most important thing for us is that we maintain a high quality so that our students maintain the reputation they have with employers today. If you study with us, the employer knows that you have a solid education and can feel secure that you have the knowledge that the market requires today.
We like to let our students and the jobs they get after their education (or how successfully they start their businesses) speak for our commitment and quality. We are passionate about ensuring that our students have the future they dream of when they start with us!
Why should people train with you?
The content and scope of the training is the best on the market – you don't become an interior designer in a few months of study without assignments. To maintain the quality of the professional role of Interior Designer, solid and competent trainers are required.
Our teachers are competent and care about you - in order for you to gain the knowledge required in today's market (regardless of whether you want to work as an interior designer, at an architectural firm, at an interior design magazine, in advertising, on TV recordings, new construction, etc.), it is necessary that those who educate have a broad level of education and truly care about you as a student, so that you can learn and get help with everything from creating a portfolio to applying for your dream job at IKEA to helping you start a business.
We have an AAA credit rating and are the super company of the year – it is important that the trainer you choose to train with has a good financial record, i.e. several years of good results and with good turnover. Is it a new company? How will it be in a few years? What happens if the company goes bankrupt? Then you risk your training losing its value. What percentage of your students go on to find employment?
About 90% of our students in the Career Course get employed within 6 months of completing and passing the course. Check out our blog to read interviews with former students!
Can you start your own business after completing your education?
Yes, of course. Although most people become employed, some start their own businesses and basic knowledge of starting your own business is included in the training.
What does a Certified Interior Decorator certification mean for you?
Our certification as Certified Interior Decorator, Home Staging Consultant and/or Interior Stylist means that we guarantee that you maintain a certain quality, which is very high with us. Our students have a good reputation in the industry because companies know that they are competent. The certification is issued by the educator, so it is important that the trainer you choose has a well-managed economy (please take a credit report or check allabolag.se ) and a good reputation in the market. If the educator is not good, the certification will not be worth anything when you are looking for a job.
What does a University of Applied Sciences degree in Interior Design mean to you? - only in Sweden
Our YH training for Interior Designer is a vocational training that is approved by the Swedish Agency for Vocational Education and Training, which means that the training meets the authority's requirements and guidelines both in terms of the design of the training but also the possibility of a job after graduation. The training gives the student a comprehensive training for Interior Designer, which is a professional role we feel is missing in today's interior design projects, especially in public environments.
This training, in comparison to our certification training, gives you a direct path into the industry for those who want, in addition to the aesthetic and functional aspects, also focus on the more technically advanced parts of an interior design project, laws and practices, and be able to lead larger interior design projects.
OUR COURSES
Are there any prerequisites required to study Interior Decoration at your school?
Our Career course have no prerequisites and you learn everything from scratch. This means that everyone is free to apply, regardless of previous education level.
As our courses are based on distance learning and online, you should have good computer skills.
What is the difference between Interior Decorator, Home Staging Consultant, Interior Stylist and Interior Designer?
The interior decorator
works with decorating personal homes or businesses. Here you work with a customer and their specific wishes. It is often about solving problems and creating improvements without changing what is good. In this type of job you often have a longer relationship with a customer as assignments as an Interior Decorator take longer to complete than, for example, a Home Styling.
The Homestaging Consultant
works with styling homes for sale. The role of the home staging consultant is to highlight the potential of the home by showing the advantages and possibilities. Often it is about selling a home quickly, at the best price possible or for it to be sold at all. Here, you often collaborate with brokers and it is often a job that is done quickly and efficiently.
The interior stylist
you work with the visual. An interior stylist's work can be for still photography (different camera angles, flat lay, moving image) but also entire room environments to sell a product or a home in so-called home staging, where you style it before selling. The interior stylist's work can also include designing and creating environments for a trade fair, a catalog, a magazine or for a commercial or TV program.
As a trained interior stylist with us, you can also work with Visual Merchandising in interior design.
The stylist's work is not just a matter of aesthetics. In addition to being responsible for color, selection of products to be put together, lighting, etc., the stylist must also have good dialogue with the photographer, client, etc. The stylist often has to act as project manager between the different parties involved in such a project.
In our Certified Interior Decorator & Interior Stylist (incl. Home Staging Consultant) course, you will gain a breadth that creates both variety in work tasks and increases the number of jobs you can apply for. You will get a good combination that is attractive in the labor market.
The Interior Designer (only available in Sweden)
has a broader role that includes both the aesthetic and some technical aspects of interior design work, without necessarily becoming an engineer. The education to become an interior designer includes a deeper understanding of project management and collaboration in interior design. The interior designer needs to be able to navigate between aesthetics and technology in a way that creates sustainable and functional environments, but without having the deep technical expertise that an engineer possesses. Instead, it is about understanding and applying industry practices in a way that facilitates collaboration with technical professional groups.
Why should I choose with hits? (only in Sweden)
The meetups are a unique opportunity for you to meet us and create a network. We bring in professional interior designers and stylists who guest lecture and work together with group exercises in color and spatiality, challenge our creativity and have a lot of fun.
The training with meetings is our most comprehensive training and has a limited number of places. Since we have the opportunity to get to know our students at meetings, we can also write personal reviews for, for example, employers if necessary.

PAYMENT
How can I pay for a course?
With us you can pay by card, invoice, bank transfer or installment payment. Contact us if you want more information on what options are available to you.
When should the course fee be paid?
When you register for one of our courses, you pay a registration fee (2000 SEK for distance learning courses). You are then guaranteed a place on the course. The registration fee is then deducted from the total course fee.
The remaining course fee is paid at the start of the course. To start, you need to pay the full course fee or have an approved partial payment or invoice.
Can I pay off a partial payment earlier?
Yes, a partial payment can always be settled early. You can also pay a larger amount in one month if possible. In that case, you should contact the credit company so that you get the correct OCR number, etc.
What is the interest rate on the installment payment?
With us you can pay in installments via either Klarna or Svea (SE), contact us for actual interest rates available to you.
Are your courses CSN eligible?
We are a private trainer and unfortunately you cannot get CSN when you study our vocational training, basic courses or SketchUp courses. For these courses we offer installment payments of 6-72 months and you can work in parallel because the study pace is flexible.
For those of you who want/need to study a CSN-eligible education, there is our YH education for Interior Designer . This education is both eligible for study funds (grants/study loans) and additional cost loans for the course fee. NOTE ! This education follows the guidelines of the University of Applied Sciences with a fixed study pace and start date. More information for the next start can be found here.
REGISTRATION
How does registration work?
1. You apply for the education or course you want to study. The application is only binding once you have paid the application fee.
2. You will receive an acceptance email with a link to pay the registration fee. Once you have paid this, your place is guaranteed.
3. You pay the remaining course fee or choose an installment payment plan and gain access to your course on the agreed start date.
When can I register for a course?
Since our courses are completely remote, you can register at any time and start whenever you want. As long as you have paid the registration fee and selected payment method, you can start immediately. This also applies to courses with physical meetings.
How quickly can I start my education?
You can start as soon as you have registered and selected payment.

Why should I choose to study vocational training with physical meetings?
The course meetings offer a unique opportunity to participate in workshops specially designed for our courses where you get to meet your teachers and also network with other course participants. During the course we meet for a total of two or three full weekends, spread out over the course of your course, depending on which course you are studying. These days can make a big difference to your learning, inspiration and future career. Here's why:
1. Deep learning and engagement
Studies show that learning in a physical environment improves focus and understanding. Our meetings give you the opportunity to actively participate in workshops, practical exercises and discussions – something that really helps you put theory into practice.
2. Practical exercises and direct feedback from teachers
At the meetings, we work hands-on with tasks such as creating design boards, analyzing color schemes, and testing design solutions. You will receive direct feedback from our experienced teachers, giving you the opportunity to develop quickly and confidently.
3. Building relationships and networks
Physical meetings are a chance to meet like-minded people, make connections, and build a professional network. Many of our former students have found partners and new opportunities through the relationships created during the meetings.
4. Increased motivation and creativity
Meeting in an inspiring environment creates energy and new ideas. Our meetings help you stay motivated and give you a creative boost that is difficult to get when studying completely remotely.
Although our completely distance-based training courses are also of high quality, the physical meetings provide an extra dimension that can be crucial for you to achieve your goals.

Do I need to purchase any materials for your courses?
Denna utbildning är online och det behövs ingen kurslitteratur för att genomföra utbildningen, allt inläsningsmaterial och videor finns tillgängligt på din kursportal.
I början av utbildningen förekommer en del moment där du ska skapa handgjorda boards och ritningar.

Väljer du utbildningen med fysiska träffar ingår det ett startpaket med kursmaterial till ett värde av 2000 kr.
Vi använder SketchUp i vår utbildning till inredare. För att genomföra kursen behöver du ladda ner och köpa SketchUp PRO, som elev hos oss kan du köpa programmet till studentpris, ca 860 kr/år med intyg från oss (ord. pris ca 4 000 kr/år). För dig som läser en yrkesutbildning till Inredare ingår 1 års SketchUp PRO-licens automatiskt när du ansöker och aktiveras när du kommer till ditt första SketchUp-moment i utbildningen.

Inför träffarna blir du i god tid kontaktad av våra lärare med mer information däribland information om vad du behöver ta med dig till träffen.
Hur kommer jag igång med min kurs?
